Synopsis
For some time now, I've been annoyed by the fact that clerics are a kind of generic spellcaster capable of healing in most games. That's why I was positively surprised by their absence from the Dragonbane core book. This combined with the absence of large organizations with cosmopolitan pretensions such as schools of magic, churches, religions, and kingdoms got me thinking. What if the old church had been dismantled, its sacred texts purged? How would it be rebuilt? On what beliefs? By whom?
You can answer these questions by choosing one of the six archetypes presented in this book and taking on the mission of being God's instrument in this forgotten land.
The Prophet: a saint capable of making prophecies by seeing what is beyond mortal sight or hidden by the passage of time.
The Sin Eater: a saint capable of absorbing the sins and burdens of other people, be they sins, illnesses or curses.
The Black Soul: a terrible sinner redeemed to become the hound that guards the faithful
The Herald of the Word: a saint capable of using the primordial language to impose his will on the world
The Healer: a saint whose blood has the ability to heal the worst injuries
The Miracle Worker: a saint capable of performing a variety of small traditional miracles
