Synopsis

Deep in the Krummer Mountains stands an old and broken tower. Known only as the Oldest Tower by the newly arrived locals to the Misty Vale, little do they know that it holds a dark secret that even now stirs to life once again…

INTO THE OLDEST TOWER is a fantasy scenario written for the Dragonbane roleplaying game (published by Fria Ligan AB “Free League”) and is released under the Dragonbane Third-Party Tabletop Module License.

Developed as an introductory adventure for newer, likely younger, gamers - taking their early steps into the world of roleplaying and Dragonbane in particular - this scenario is very linear in structure and is designed to engage the players - as much as their characters - in decision making and acting out the consequences of their deeds.

Similar to other introductory scenarios, this adventure is made up of a number of pre-set encounters, most of which include an introductory text (which the Game Master may wish to paraphrase or read out directly), as well as the various challenges and threats the character may face within that location. That said, the Game Master is very much encouraged to alter and adapt this scenario’s plot and events as required to ensure the creation of an interesting and exciting adventure that everyone at your table can enjoy.
