Synopsis
In search of your disappeared employer, travel through space and time to the long-lost palace of Marvellio the Plane Walker, uncover the dark secret of a lost tribe, and fight an ancient adversary that is not what it seems.
Will you find your way home or will you be forever lost in hidden dimensions?
This medieval-fantastic adventure is focused on exploration and social interactions. The characters' employer has disappeared, and in their search for him the characters are transported to an ancient mage's palace. There they encounter :
- the tribe that now occupies the palace, worshipping a benevolent god
- their very nice high priest
- cute techno-magical minions who take care of the palace and its occupants
- tinkering steampunk renegades who split from the main tribe
- a mysterious vault where 'supremes' are kept in a magical slumber
- a nightly ritual where the tribe awakens a 'supreme' and sends them back to their home
- magical items, riddles and mysteries
- a terrible enemy that is not quite what it appears
This adventure works for players of any experience level, but requires an experienced GM who can handle a "sandbox" with multiple protagonists.
It has been designed to be used with minimal prep, and instructions are provided as to what the GM should read ahead of the session.
